The B.Ed course offered by IGNOU is aimed to train, enhance skills and inculcate teaching pedagogy among the in-service teachers across the country using self-instructional teaching materials and informational technology. The B.Ed Programmes of IGNOU is recognised by the NCTE and is offered in NCTE approved training colleges in the country. Yes, there is a value for IGNOU's B.Ed.

After doing B.Sc you can pursue lectureship. Also, healthcare sector is improving day by day and career chances are also increasing with demand in this sector. There is a good demand for the candidates who have finished their degree in 4 years of B.Sc in nursing. There is a good option for you to do MBA in hospital or healthcare management. It will be easy for you to pursue MBA if you have done B.Sc in nursing.
However, minimum criteria is that you should score minimum 50% of aggregate marks in your B.Sc. Degree/graduation and if you belongs to SC/ST, then 45% of aggregate marks will be required in B.Sc. Degree/graduation. After co

The eligibility criteria to apply for IGNOU B.Ed admission is mentioned below:
At least 50% percent marks either in the Bachelors degree and/or in the Masters degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce/Humanity. Bachelors in engineering or technology with specialization in science and mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto,
And
Trained in-service teachers in elementary education.
OR
Candidates who have completed a NCTE recognized teacher education programme in direct mode.
You can do B.Ed after completing MA also. It depends on your choice.

Hi, online application for B.Ed start from May 02, 2019 and end date: May 12, 2019.
Submission of downloaded, filled-up application form with required documents and e-Challan at College is from May 03, 2019 and end date is May 14, 2019.
For B.Ed, a candidate must have passed MA/M.Sc. Or B.A. (Hons)/ B.Sc. (Hons) with minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
