Eligibility for Admission:-A pass in the graduate degree examination under the 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 pattern. Candidates having cross major subjects in P. G. Degree are not eligible. Candidate having a direct U. G. , Degree (without +2 qualification), candidates having a direct P. G. Degree (without U. G. Degree) are not eligible. Admission will be made after written entrance examination. In accordance with NCTE norms, regular teachers working in primary, middle, secondary and higher secondary schools in Tamilnadu, recognised by State / Central government, with a minimum of two years teaching experience are only eligible. At least 50% marks either in the Bachelors Degree and /or in the Masters Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce/Humanity. Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science & Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualifications equivalent thereto (And);
The following categories are eligible to be students of B.Ed. (ODL):
(b) (i) Trained in-service teachers in elementary education
(ii) Candidates who have completed a NCTE recognized teacher education program through face-to face mode.

Yes, you can do B.Ed, but only from a private institute as admission may be difficult in government institute, as your marks are quite low but still you can pursue B.Ed. Good luck.

You should pass your B.Sc. Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade. For SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates, it's minimum.
