Yes, an engineering graduate as well as post graduate student can appear for the NET examination that is now being conducted by NTA on behalf of UGC. There are of course other criteria like minimum marks scored in the graduation or the post graduation level as well as the age of the candidates. Candidates seeking admission to B.El.Ed. must have passed 10+2 with 50 % in aggregate with at least 50 % marks in each of the 4 subjects. Selection procedure for B.El.Ed. admission is based on an online written entrance test. All admissions to the B.El.Ed. programme will be done on the basis of the scheme of the CEE.
