Hello Shilpa,The UGC NET exam is held for around 100 subjects and the cutoff marks is different for each subject. If we see the previous year cutoff marks for English, the Cut off marks for July 2018 varied from 52% to 60% marks. The Dec 2018 exam pattern was different as the exam was held in online mode only. Thus there could be changes in the cut off marks. If you comes between the cutoff marks above 55% then you can be qualified for the NET exam. The result for NET exam will be release on 10 January as per the Schedule. So be alert, keep checking the official notification and check the cutoff marks from the official website.

Hello,
Many students prepare for the UGC NET Exam from some coaching Institute. They stay away from their home at rent and prepare for this exam. Well, to crack this exam there is no need to stay away from home and take admission in any coaching institute. This is total wastage of time, money and energy. You can prepare by self at home from the Books and notes available in the market. Else you can prepare from the Online preparation mode. Some online coaching institute like Eduncle-https://ugcnetexamcbse.blogspot.com/2018/06/has-anybody-purchased-eduncle-study-material-for-ugc-net-detailed-review.html VPM Classes and TCY Online provide

Greetings for New Year.
I hope, through Ed external course, you mean distance learning course. If you would have provided with educational details, it would have been easier to answer. But never mind.
B.Ed has become mandatory for candidates pursuing teaching as a career. I would personally recommend you to do a regular B.Ed course, as it is given more value. B.Ed from IGNOU is the best distance learning course. For this and any other distance learning course, two years teaching experience is needed. You will have to clear Central Teaching Eligibility Test CTET also for better placement. I hope my answer proves satisfactory and hope your
