At first, you should know the eligibility and criteria to apply for the exam. The UGC NET exam is conducted in more than 84 subjects for the selection of candidates for the assistant professor posts in the colleges and for junior fellowship award in a research field. The candidates will be eligible if they have completed the post-graduation degree from the recognized university with more than 55% marks. The age of the candidates should be below 30 years and there is no age limit for the UGC NET lectureship.
One important thing to remember is that you can apply for your post-graduation subject or its related subjects only. As you have completed the MBA you can apply for the UGC NET management or another specialized subject. You may know the details from the blog:

For pursuing B.Ed, one has to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
