There is no fixed pattern to prepare for the NET exam. UGC NET is a national level exam and you must have deep knowledge of the subject. One important thing while preparing is the study material you are following. It must have easy to understand language, topic wise questions, previous year papers and sample question papers or mock test. There are various books and online study material available and it can be checked by review of the study material.

1. Any person who has successfully cleared his Bachelors of Education I. e. B.Ed. Or B.A. B.Ed. Or B.Sc. B.Ed. Or B. El. Ed. From recognised institution with atleast 50% marks is eligible to apply for this course.

You can apply for the NET exam if you have done your post-graduation or you are in a qualifying year. You must have minimum 55% aggregate marks in Masters. But UGC NET is not conducted in development studies, you have to select any other similar subject to apply for the exam. From Dec 2018, the UGC NET exam will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on the place of CBSE. NTA has been started the UGC NET 2018 Apply Online process from 1st September 2018 and candidates can apply till 30th September 2018.
