Yes, anyone who has Master's degree with atleast 55% marks is eligible for NET Exam. But you should choose the subject wisely for exam.

According to your educational qualification, you can apply for UGC NET Commerce and UGC NET Management. These two subjects are suitable for you. But make sure that you should have minimum 55% aggregate marks in your post-graduation. Yes, you are eligible to become a professor. After qualifying, you can apply for posts of assistant professor in higher level educational institutions. If you qualifies JRF, then you are eligible to pursue research and apply for the post of JRF in higher level educational institutions. All the best.

Hello Sarmistha,
At least 50% marks either in the Bachelor's Degree or in the Master's Degree in Science / Commerce/ Social Science is required. Humanity and Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with Specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent is also eligible for admission to the programme.
