Yes, you can apply for SET as well as the NET exam. Let me clear here that SET is a state level while NET is national level exam conducted for the assistant professor at the university level and the junior research fellowship. The minimum eligibility to apply for the NET or SET exam is post graduation degree with minimum 55% marks from recognised university. The candidates are allowed to apply only their post graduation degree or its related subject. As you have completed the master's degree in biotechnology you may apply for the CSIR NET life Science or CSIR NET Chemical Science. B.Ed stands for an undergraduate academic course known as Bachelor of Education. Earlier, it was known as Bachelor of Training (BT). B.Ed Eligibility
The minimum qualification required for entry into B.Ed is Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) or Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) form a recognised board/university with at least 50% marks. Students need to appear in an entrance test conducted by the various states and independent educational bodies and universities for admission in various teaching institutions attached with it according to the rank of the candidate in the entrance exam. These exams are generally held in the month of June-July and consist of objective type questions about English, General Knowledge, Aptitude, Basic Arithmetic Teaching Potential and one local language in some states.
