Hi, You will have to apply for the PG programme and score at least 55%, which is the minimum eligibility to appear for the NET (National Eligibility Test)-the qualifying examination for teaching in a college. You can also apply for research work in your university as M.Phil Ph.D. degrees are required for teaching in colleges. But remember, a candidate with doctoral degree gets an edge over other applicants. NET is conducted by the UGC (University Grants Commission) twice in a year- June & December every year. After completing B.Ed, you have a lot of scope to get job in private as well as government schools with a good salary package. Interested candidates can also pursue higher studies in this field. Master of Education M.Ed is the postgraduate higher specialised course which students can pursue after the completion of B.Ed. You can also do Ph.D. after the completion of M.Ed.
