Candidates should have possessed following eligibility criteria defined by IGNOU for B.Ed. Program:
1.Candidates with at least fifty (55) percent marks either in the Bachelors Degree and/or in the Masters Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce/Humanity, Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme (and);The following categories are eligible to be the students of B.Ed. (ODL):
(i) Trained in-service teachers in elementary education (Or);(ii) Candidates who have completed a NCTE

B.Ed will be a better option after completing your graduation as you can go with your specialisation subject as well as can opt for teaching as your career after completing the course.
