Yes, you can apply for SET. 55% marks in PG level is essential to write this exam. If you clear this exam you can get lecturer jobs. So, you need to pursue post graduation so as to attend this exam.

You can pursue both the degrees simultaneously but not as regular from the same college/university. Like if you are pursuing B.Ed as regular then the other one should be through distance or you can go for a dual degree programme.

The minimum qualifying marks for each paper is 60% I. e. candidates will have to secure at least 90 marks out of 150 in order to be declared qualified.
