Some universities such as Mumbai university allows Diploma holders in Engineering to seek admission in B.Sc second year in field related to their basic diploma. By the way, Diploma holders in Engineering are eligible to seek lateral entry admission in second year of Engineering graduation degree I.e. B.Tech.

Hi Imran,
If you plan to take up higher grade like 11 and 12, you need to be post graduate or more to teach along with B.Ed. So, you may take up economics and English as two subjects.

There are several institutes in the country who offers BEd programs. The distance learning of this course is also getting enhanced throughout the country. The course is of 2 years duration. The course fee structure of B.Ed varies from distance to regular. Regular classes are being offered to the students who can devote time. The course fee for regular classes is 50,000 pa- 70,000 pa. The distance learning of this course is a bit less than the regular. The fee charged by the government institutes are less. Himachal Pradesh University charges around 32,000 per annum for B.Ed. Dear Gayathri,
As you are graduate you are eligible for teacher's job but ICSE schools give preference to B.Sc , M.Sc students. You are a technical student. If you pursue B.Tech in CSE then maybe they can give you a chance to become a computer teacher.

Hello Rajesh,
A doctoral degree is typically required to work as a full-time, tenure-track university professor. You should be prepared to earn an undergraduate degree in your chosen subject area, go to graduate school, complete a Ph.D. programme, conduct independent research, and write and publish articles in scholarly journals.
As you keep on earning more experience in the field, you will become eligible to be a professor in IIIT. Check the careers section on the IIIT website for the minimum eligibility criteria to be a professor.
