Hello,
Thanks for asking.
If you have completed B.Sc. & want to get into Teaching field in Schools then you should pursue B.Ed.
But if you are dreaming of Lectureship in Indian Colleges & Universities then you have to qualify the net exam.

After qualifying the net exam, you will be eligible to directly apply for Lectureship / Professorship.
there are also too many other advantages of qualifying the net exam, like work in csir labs, pursue PhD, get a job in PSUs etc.

Hi,
You are not eligible to seek job as TGT maths in government schools as the eligibility is graduation degree in maths or statistics. If you had maths as a subject in all years of your graduation degree then you are eligible for TGT but I do not think any engineering college teaches maths in 3rd and 4th year of engineering.

Hi,
To have a Ph.D degree from abroad universities do not have a stamp or surety to get a job in IIT or any other established Indian University. It totally depend on knowledge, skills, foundation, research papers and project work with positive attitude, commitment and dedication. So, you must give your 100% from your side and do well in your studies up to Ph.D level.
All the best.
