Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For the General category under All India, opening rank was 5649 and closing rank was 5796. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 11244 and 12034. Admission to B.Tech. in Textile Technology in IIT Delhi is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

The last year's 2022 cutoff ranks for B.Tech. in Textile Technology at NIT Jalandhar - Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology other than General category are - 84768 for OBC, 157381 for SC, 269198 for ST, 81788 for EWS. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut-offs also change a lot depending on the All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

The Cutoffs are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 42650 and 67696. Admission to BTech in Textile Technology in NIT Jalandhar is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

Yes, you can get Textile Technology in Serampore at Government College of Engineering & Textile Technology (GCETTS). You can also get Jute and Fibre Technology at University of Calcutta.

As per the official information, Twenty percent of the total intake are filled-in from Lateral Entry candidates in the 3rd semester through JELET. Admission through Lateral Entry to the 2nd year (3rd semester level) of the undergraduate degree courses, candidates who have either passed Diploma course in Engineering / Technology / Pharmacy from any AICTE recognised Polytechnic / Institute with at least overall 50% marks (45% for reserved category) or have passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject and Degree in Science (B.Sc. ) from U. G. C. approved Universities with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category).

it's very nice to see that you are checking out fees before seeking admission. In this Institute the annual tuition fees us about rupees 80000/-. However please do remember that a student will need to pay many more types of fees other than this. Hence you should budget for St least rupees one lakh per year. Best wishes to you.
