Thapar University admission to most of the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses is based on candidates' performance in several national-level entrance exams. For TIET BTech admission, candidates must have a valid JEE Main score. Apart from JEE Main, TIET also accepts CATNMATXATCMATMATGMATGRE/ Thapar Entrance Test for MBA and GATE for ME/ M.Tech admission. TIET does not offer direct admission. Candidates seeking admission to TIET UG, PG and PhD courses need to appear for the course-specific entrance exams. Hi there!
This is management's decision. Usually in most colleges 2nd year onwards students are settled first. Then they start the fresh batch and Orientation. Sometimes due to some technical Issues (could be admissions still on for the last few seats available etc. ). Dates are postponed. So this should not be a concerned area. Just Chill and Enjoy your College once it gets started. Thank you.
