The South Alberta Institute of Technology is amongst the top 50 universities in Calgary, Canada.

After fulfilling the eligibility requirements of the preferred course, international students are required to show their English Language Proficiency by qualifying for any of the English Language Proficiency tests such as IELTS, TOEFL or PTE. Though a 5.5 band in IELTS is a decent score, it might not be enough to get you into the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. The Southern Alberta Institute of Technology accepts a minimum 6 band/score in IELTS, for admission to any of the courses that it offers.

The official website of the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology does not have any information about the specific scores that are required to avail of the scholarships.

The Southern Alberta Institute of Technology offers more than $6 million as scholarships and bursaries to students in almost every programme offered by the institute. The institute offers scholarships to students based on their academic performance, community involvement and financial needs. The Southern Alberta Institute of Technology accepts admission applications from all around the world. Average Indian students can most certainly join The Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, however, she/he is required to satisfy the eligibility criteria required for admission to their preferred choice of course. Along with that, the student also needs to manage funds, to pay the tuition fee timely and manage their accommodation, travel and medical expenses. Students are advised to plan accordingly.
