No, submitting GRE scores in not really mandatory for the Indian students to submit as part of their application process for the University of Sydney. 

That is generally recommended for research heavy courses along with other important admission requirements like IELTS or TOEFL.

Yes, for Indian students, it may be a little hard to go for the MS courses at the University of Sydney. The overall University of Sydney acceptance rate is 30%.

Given are the admission requirements to raise your chances at this university -

The courses under Sydney MS can cost a students anywhere between INR 33L and INR 40L.

The overall University of Sydney MS course fee ranges from INR 23.23 L to 39.82 L. The total cost of a degree here can range between INR 31.85 L and 70.72 L.

Once you have submitted the USyd application successfully, you may be asked to submit more documents or also be called for an interview. 

In any case, the applicants can see their application status by logging into the admission portal they used and going to 'My applications'. There may be a case as given below - 

  • In progress would mean that the university has received the application and it will take some time to assess it.

If an international student has applied for the University of Sydney admissions, this university can possibly call them for an interview. Look at the informative pointers given below - 

  • The University aim is to assess and reply to the student application as soon as possible.

The two key intakes available at the University of Sydney are Semester 1, which begins in February each year, and Semester 2, which starts in July. 

Out of these two, the most popular among International students is Semester 1 as this is the main one and also most of the USyd courses are made available at this time. 

The July intake mostly has programs in Science, Business, Health Sciences and also Arts.

As an Indian student, international students are required to apply for the University of Sydney admissions via the official portal of the university. For different courses at this university, the exact dates are different as per the program.
