According to an unofficial source, the University of Sydney acceptance rate under its Engineering courses stands at 30%, which indicates a tough and selective admission process. The low acceptance rate suggests that out of every 100 applications, only 30 applicants were rolled out an offer letter.

Yes, the University of Sydney permits international students to work while studying. Overseas students must be mindful of the fact that they can work no more than 48 hours per fortnight while classes are in session and it is essential that this employment does not interfere with a their academic program. During vacations, they can work for unlimited hours.
