Various filters can be used to check cutoff. Candidates can check the cutoff marks and also the cutoff ranks for any college and course. The website hosts Previous Years the lowest Cutoff and the highest Rank for College Branches from 2018 to 2024. Cutoff marks mean the lowest score upto which the college accepted admission and the highest rank means the last rank upto which the college accepted admission. Eligible candidates for TNEA are called seat allotment on the basis of TNEA cut-off marks and availability of seats in the TNEA participating colleges. The TNEA cut-off admission scores are released after each round of counselling on the official website. TNEA cutoffs are different for all the categories depending on various exam factors.

Check below the steps on how to fill choices in TNEA 2026 counselling: Add/Remove Choices: Candidates have to choose carefully their preferences for getting a seat in a branch in an institution. Based on the availability of seats, rank, and community, candidates will be allotted. Candidates must prepare a list of choices in the order of preference to enter the choices in the order preference correctly and quickly. Choice Entry and Locking of Choices will be available for 3 days, 3rd day until 5.00 pm. All the above processes can be completed from anywhere, from your home if you have a facility or you can avail of the facility of TFC. Using this, candidates can create a list of branches and colleges. This choice list or preference list should finally be in the order of candidate preference. The following candidates are considered as native of Tamil Nadu state:

• Tamil Nadu candidates who have passed their Class VIII to Class XII standard in Tamil Nadu.
• Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years at the time of TNEA application form submission.
• Sons/daughters of All India Service Tamil Nadu cadre officers. Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognised institutions who at the time of TNEA 2025 application form submission had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible to apply, irrespective of their domicile.
• Other state candidates who have studied from Class VIII to Class XII in Tamil Nadu can also apply for TNEA 2025.
• Tamil Nadu native candidates who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI and XII standards or their equivalent examinations from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply for TNEA.
