Diploma in Travel and Tourism course is a short term Diploma course which is designed to equip students with the practical knowledge and skills required to build a career in  travel, tourism, and hospitality industries.

The course focuses on fields such as travel management, tour management, tour operations, customer service, airline ticketing, tourism marketing and many such tasks. 

Loyola College's B.Com programs do not include a specialization in Travel and Tourism. loYola Academy, a different institution, offers a BBA program focused on Tourism and Management. This program aims to provide knowledge and skills for the tourism industry. sm.

Travel and their Dates are responsible for a good career in tour management: planning, organizing, and executing tours. Here, the individual requires good logistical knowledge, communication skills, and problem-solving skills.

On an average, it would start with an INR 3-5 Lacs package and may potentially go up to 10-15 Lacs with experience and greater exposure outside India. Quite good for successful candidates who prefer a job with some dynamism, even though it means long hours, availability for clients, and attending to numerous emergencies.

The main Tourism courses include various courses such as:

You typically need cleared class 12^th examinations from recognised board with minimum 50% aggregate, while few colleges may ask for entrance exams like CAT, MAT, or CUET.
