TS ECET

TS ECET was conducted on May 6, 2024. The test was conducted by the Osmania University. TS ECET 2024 is a state-level entrance test that was held in computer-based test mode for admission 2nd year regular BE/BTech Courses in both University and Private Un-aided Professional Institutions (Minority & Non-Minority ) approved by the All India Council for Technical Education.The exam is conducted for Diploma Holders and for BSc (Mathematics) degree holders. 

According to the official TS ECET exam pattern, the medium of the entrance examination will be English. As the examination is multiple-choice in nature, the questions in the paper will be set in the English language. Therefore the candidates are advised to prepare for the examination accordingly. If the candidates face any problems during the examination, they can contact and ask for help from the invigilators at the centre. 

Yes, candidates are advised to check the TS ECET exam pattern to be well prepared for the examination. Through the exam pattern, the candidates will be able to understand important details of the examination such as mode, duration, type of questions, sections, marking scheme and more. Knowing the exam pattern will allow the candidates to be well-prepared for the entrance examination and have a higher chance of scoring well for admissions.

For TS ECET Pharmacy stream, the candidates have to study topics from four subjects - Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy and Pharmacology and Toxicology. For each section, the candidates will have to answer 50 objective multiple-choice questions each. A total of 3 hours will be provided to the candidates to complete the entrance examination. No extra time will be provided to the candidates to complete the examination.  

There will be four sections in the TS ECET paper - Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Engineering Paper. While Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry are common for all, the candidates will be able to select their Engineering Paper (Civil/Electrical & Electronics/Mechanical/Electronics & Communication /Computer Science/Chemical/Metallurgical/Mining/Electronics & Instrumentation/Bio-Technology). The paper will have objective multiple-choice questions.  

According to the TS ECET exam pattern, the total duration of the examination is 3 hours. All candidates will have to complete the examination within the allotted duration. No extra time will be provided to the candidates. To complete the examination within the official duration, the candidates are advised to improve their time management skills. After the end of the exam, the paper has to be submitted and the candidates will not be able to answer any more questions.

Yes, TS ECET will be held online i.e., as a computer-based test. The authorities will conduct TS ECET at various examination centres. Candidates will have to attempt the examination online by choosing the correct answer from the multiple options provided on the system. The questions in the TS ECET paper will be objective and multiple-choice in nature. Candidates will have to complete the online entrance examination within the allotted duration. 

The authorities have not yet announced the last date to confirm admissions after the TS ECET 2024 counselling process. All selected candidates will have to confirm their admissions before the final date. If the candidates are not able to confirm their admissions before the final date, then their allotment will be cancelled. The final date to confirm admissions after the TS ECET counselling 2024 will be different for every round.

The authorities are yet to announce the official class commencement date for the candidates selected through TS ECET 2024. After the results are announced and the counselling process commences, the authorities are expected to announce the class commencement date. The authorities will make the official announcement regarding the class commencement for the TS ECET qualified candidates at the official website. 

TS ECET 2024 seat allotment dates are yet to be announced. Candidates will be able to access the TS ECET seat allotment 2024 result online. Separate seat allotment results will be declared for the different rounds. To check the seat allotment result, the candidates have to log in using the required credentials. Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate's rank, preferences and seat availability. No other mode will be used to declare the TS ECET seat allotment result.
