Calcutta University as well as University of Engineering & Management Kolkata offer BTech courses across several specialisations. However, some of the specialisations offered in both the universities are different from each other. While Calcutta University offers BTech in Jute and Fibre Technology, Polymer Science and Technology, Radio Physics and Electronics, etc., along with the traditional specialisations such as CSE, ECE, Civil, Mechanical, and others.

The UEM Kolkata BTech programme is a full-time bachelor's course. This course is offered with multiple specialisations. The duration of each course is four years. The total fees to be paid range from INR 5.6 to INR 5.9 Lacs.
