Hello, NTA successfully conducted the UGC NET exam on 28th June 2019. The result will be declared on 15th July 2019 as per the notifications. NTA also revised the syllabus for June 2019 including the Paper 1. As per the guidelines of the NTA you can apply for the subject in which you have qualified or qualifying your Post-Graduation course. Follow this to-do list, to have a better hold on your preparations. To qualify Paper I with the good score, candidates are required to check the complete syllabus. Then on the basis of previous year's papers analysis, find out the important topics whose occurrence frequency is Prioritize such topics in a list. The National Testing Agency conducts the NET Exam two times a year (June and December). So, you will get at least 6 months to get prepared for UGC NET Exam.

Yes, you can appear for the UGC NET in Forensic Science. But, according to your educational qualification, it is better that you can apply for the CSIR NET Life Science as well as CSIR NET Chemical Science exam.
