No the registrations for the UGC NET are not open for MDSU Ajmer PhD admissions for the academic year 2026. The December session of UGC NET for 2026 admissions is already over.
However, the registrations for the June session are yet to begin. Candidates interested in MDSU Ajmer PhD admissions need to wait for UGC NET registrations to begin.

Yes, UGC-NET is a mandatory entrance exam for MDSU Ajmer PhD admissions. All candidates who are eligible for MDSU Ajmer PhD course must appear for the UGC-NET as well as participate in the interview round to gain admissions. The selection of candidates will be based on their UGC-NET score.

No, UGC NET is not a mandatory entrance exam for NIT Srinagar PhD admissions. Candidates can also appear in the GATE as well to qualify for admissions to the NIT Srinagar PhD course.
However, candidates who are applying through a ME/MTech score are required to appear for the national level NIT Srinagar entrance exam instead of the aforementioned exams.

No, candidates who have either appeared for the GATE or UGC NET are not required to appear for the NIT Jalandhar PhD admission Written Test. The aforementioned written test is only applicable to part-time PhD admissions where the candidates have not qualified in either the GATE or UGC NET.

The NTA released the UGC NET 2026 June City advance city intimation slip on June 10 at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
UGC NET intimation slip mentions the date of examination, shift, subject/test papers and medium chosen by the candidate while filling the application form. UGC NET city slip is not an admit card. It is an advanced information about the allotment of city. Based on the city allotted, candidates will have to make the necessary arrangement for travel, accommodation, etc.

The UGC NET 2026 June session exam was started on June 22 and ended on June 30. The whole schedulewas announced on the official portal at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The notification was released on April 29.

The NTA released the UGC NET 2026 June session admit card on June 17 at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Candidates can download their admit card from the official website and a direct link is provided on this page as well.

The salary of the candidates who will qualify the UGC NET exam varies and based on the role secured, type of institution and the level of experience. Basic pay for Assistant Professor is INR 57,700 per month and it varies by location. Therefore, approximate total is INR 80,000 to 1,00,000 per month. JRF ranges from approximately INR 37,000 per month for the first two years and approximately INR 42,000 per month as Senior Research Fellow.

No, the UGC-NET is not a mandatory entrance exam for IIM Shillong PhD admissions. Aside from UGC-NET, candidates can also appear for the CAT, GRE, GATE or GMAT to qualify for PhD admissions as well.
Candidates who fulfill certain requirements are not required to appear for any of the aforementioned entrance exams to qualify for IIM Shillong PhD admissions.
