Yes, IIT Dhanbad (ISM) does accept the UGC NET scorecard for Ph.D. admission in Psychology. A valid UGC NET score, along with a Master's degree in Psychology (like yours from Patna University), is a requirement for eligibility. Essentially, a valid UGC NET score is a prerequisite for being considered for Ph.D. admission in Psychology at IIT Dhanbad.

Yes, you are eligible for both UGC NET (Mathematics) and CSIR NET (Mathematical Sciences) since you have a Master's in Mathematics with greater than 55% (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD).

  • UGC NET: You can apply under Mathematics  (Assistant Professor/JRF).

  • CSIR NET: You qualify for Mathematical Sciences  (JRF/Lectureship).

  • Key Points:
Master's degree is the main requirement.
    B.Com doesn't affect eligibility.
Age limits: JRF (30 yrs), Lectureship (no limit).

You can choose either or both exams based on your career goals.
