The NET exam does not accept candidates who have finished their PGDCA programme from PRSU or any other institution. Before applying for the National Eligibility Test (NET) candidates need to hold a master's degree in M.Sc., MA and M.Com and equivalent fields and achieve at least 55% marks with 50% being the minimum for candidates from reserved categories. The Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA) functions as a Diploma whereas it does not fulfill the criteria for holding a master's degree. To take the NET examination candidates need to hold MCA or equivalent degree in any field of study.

Admission to KVIMIS, Coimbatore, remains uncertain even with 180 marks in UGC NET, for the Ph.D. in Management. This institution kinds of require all applicants to write UGC NET for entry into this Ph.D. program.

The cut-off for each year is dependent on the number of applicants and seats available. A score of 180 out of 300 is around 60% and will definitely be low for the threshold most times for top institutes-from 65% to about 70%-for general category students. Reserved categories might have cutoffs at pretty low levels, about 55%-60%, but borderline still.

Also, it is going to look into the academic records of the applica
