As an international student, one can work upto 20 hours per week during studies. However, there is no limit on the number of hours international students can work during their semester breaks or vacations.

The UK has very strict rules when it comes to work hours for international students and therefore, students are advised not to exceed the work hour limit, as doing the same could lead to the revokation of the UK study visa and subsequently, deportation from the country.

The recommender must mention at least three qualities of the applicant and then provide a suitable example for each quality to convince the admissions committee. Mentioning a lot of qualities without substantiating them with examples will not sound strong/ convincing.

In the introduction part of LOR for UK, the recommender must state how long he has known the applicant and in what capacity. Basically, the association/ relationship between the recommender and the applicant should be clearly established. Then, one line can be written appreciating the candidate and stating the recommender's overall impression of the applicant.

The number of LORs required by UK universities may vary from one to two. For instance, while the University of Cambridge requires one LOR, the University of Oxford asks for two.

The LOR format for UK is no different from those for US or any other country. The LOR should be one page or approximately 500 words in length. The font and size should be consistent and readable, for instance, Times New Roman 11 or 12 point size. The LOR can be academic or professional, showcasing the eligibility of the candidate.

The recommender must establish his association with the candidate right in the beginning of the LOR and later discuss at least three qualities of the applicant and provide suitable examples to back his claims.

GBS Malta is considerably more affordable. The average annual cost (tuition + living) at GBS Malta is EUR 13,000 – EUR 20,000, compared to EUR 24,000 – EUR 35,000 in the UK. Below is a graphical illustration:

This makes Malta a great option for students seeking UK-accredited studies at an affordable European location.

Someone who has been a British overseas territory's citizen by connection with Hong Kong can be entitled as the British National (overseas), (BNO). A British National (Overseas) Visa allows BNOs and applicants from Hong Kong to come to live and work in the UK even without having a job offer.

This visa also opens ways to permanent residence after a period of years in the UK and the recipients also become eligible for benefits like certain public funds to support their living in the UK.

Yes, there are several UK work visas for Indians that can be applied for from within India. However, the processing time and the visa application fee may vary when you are applying for a UK work visa from India. Several such UK work visas are the UK Health and Care Worker Visa, the Skilled Worker Visa and the India Young Professionals Scheme Visa.

The UK Tier 2 Visa is replaced by the UK Skilled Worker Visa. This is the main route for immigration of skilled workers in the UK and allows recipients to live and work in the UK, given that they have been employed by a UKVI-approved employer in the UK.

The duration spent working on a UK Skilled work visa is counted towards the qualification period for the UK PR.
