International students can apply for the University of Iowa admissions in two main intakes Fall and Spring.  The Fall semester at this university starts in the month of August or September and the Spring one starts in January

Students are required to submit their applications early to be able to get considered here.

International students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0 to get admission at the University of Iowa. The University of Iowa performs reasonably well as part of National University Rankings, given by some popular ranking publications including Shiksha. UOI secures a rank of #77 as part of the latest Shiksha Popularity Rankings, while another major source ranks it among the top 100 institutions in the US, giving it a country-level rank of #98.
