You can apply through the University of Iowa application or the Common Application (fall session only). Then you are required to pay the application fee, which is $55 and is non-refundable. The institution code for the ACT is 1356, and for the SAT, it is 6681.
The early action deadline to apply is Nov 1. Check the college-specific admission requirements. First-year students at Iowa enroll in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, Engineering, Business, Nursing, Public Health, or Education.

The University of Iowa requires a minimum TOEFL iBT score of 80, with no part score under 17, for undergraduate admission. For graduate admission, a minimum TOEFL iBT score of 100 is required, and the on-campus English Proficiency Exam (EPE) will be required unless this score is met. 
The University requires international applicants to demonstrate English language proficiency by meeting one of the following requirements:
