The university have not released the recent cutoff for BTech course. However, for the Home State Quota, Lucknow University accepts JEE Main scores followed by the counselling as s per BTech cutoff 2022, the last round closing cutoff stood at 114850 for B.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering course. For 2021, Lucknow University last round closing cutoff for BTech CSE was 135662 for the General Home State Quota students. Lucknow University LUMET cutoff 2024 has been released for MBA specialisations. During the Lucknow University MBA cutoff 2024, the last round cutoff was 196 for admission to the MBA course. For MBA in Finance and Accounting, the cutoff stood at 330 for the General AI category students. The LUMET cutoff 2024 for admission to the MBA in Business Analytics course was 699.

Candidates wanting to get admission to Lucknow University must pass the Lucknow University Management Entrance Test (LUMET) followed by an interview. It is a management entrance test that is conducted for the duration of 90-mins. The merit list is released on the basis of candidate's performance in LUMET and personal interview. Apart from the LUMET entrance examination, the university also accepts the valid score of CAT and CUET-PG.

Candidates wanting to get admission in the University of Lucknow must fulfil the eligibility criteria. Documents required at the time of form submission are as follows:

  • Scanned copies of Photograph and Signature
  • Aadhaar card
  • Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets

No, you cannot get into Lucknow University without scoring well in JEE Main exam. The university accepts JEE Mains merit score for the BTech course followed by counseling. However, the university also accepts direct admission to vacant and NRI seats for BTech and MCA programs.

University of Lucknow offers UG, PG, Diploma, Certifications, and PhD courses. Candidates can apply online on the official website for the desired course. Admission to these courses is based on university/national-level entrance exams such as UG-PET, JEE MAIN, CUET and CUET-PG.
