Hi, Those who are from the 2003-2006 period in Madras University and still have remaining arrears have to get in touch with the address of examination in the university. Backlogs are cleared within a few years (generally 2 years) after the completion of the course but have the timeframe that a university gives to a student in which they clear their backlogs. Some institutes offer some concessions or re-exams for the previous batches though.

Indeed, entrance tests are administered by the University of Madras to students wishing to enrol in specific undergraduate courses and doctoral programs. While the university does require an entrance exam for some postgraduate programs like M.Sc., M.A., M.Tech., and other specialised courses, many undergraduate courses, like B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com., are normally offered based on merit (academic credentials and marks gained in prior education).

The institution schedules an admission exam and establishes particular eligibility requirements for these programs in order to evaluate applicants' ability and competence in the relevant subjects

However, MBA placements are fairly decent across Madras University's distance education for students, but not as strong as full-time MBA programs. The university also has provision for connecting distance students with companies through job fairs and other placement assistance. Most placement, however, for distance MBA students would be dependent on the individual's efforts, prior work experience, and networking. Even though distance MBA graduates often get jobs in marketing, finance, and HR, they are not as highly placed in high-paying jobs as regular MBA placements. It is ideal for working professionals who want to advance themselves
