Yes, MBA is available at Madras University. It is a management programme offered for a duration of two years. Moreover, the mode of education is full-time. Other than this, this course is available in multiple specialisations, including Human Resource Management, System Management, Hospital Management, etc. The admissions are made based on TANCET scores. Thus, candidates interested in taking admission must appear for the TANCET exam.

The University of Madras provides the convenience to students to clear arrears (subjects repeated) in multiple attempts. Specifically, students with a single theory paper arrear in the final semester of an undergraduate degree programme can be permitted to write a supplementary examination.

Hi, Those who are from the 2003-2006 period in Madras University and still have remaining arrears have to get in touch with the address of examination in the university. Backlogs are cleared within a few years (generally 2 years) after the completion of the course but have the timeframe that a university gives to a student in which they clear their backlogs. Some institutes offer some concessions or re-exams for the previous batches though.

Madras University Cutoff 2024 has been released for the affiliated colleges for the last round for admission to MBA and MCA specialisations based on TANCET scores. The cutoff was released for different categories under the All India quota. Considering the TANCET MBA cutoff 2024, the S.A. College of Arts and Science has a cutoff rank of 6266, Sri Sankara Arts and Science College (SSASC) has 6041 rank.
