Yes, MSc at Madras University is a good course which is offered at the PG level. MSc students are placed in top companies at top positions. MSc students can further go for PhD or diploma courses and can became lecturers, teachers, or can even go in Research field. Some of the specialisations in which MSc is provided is Computer Science and others.

The recent placements statistics has not been released by IDE University of Madras for MBA courses, however, as per the students’ reviews on the Shiksha page,  84% of the recent batch was successfully placed in the reputed companies. The the highest and the lowest package offered during the recent Madras University Distance Education placements stood at INR 35 LPA and INR 7 LPA, respectively. 

Note: Due to unavailability of information on the highest package of MBA at IDE University of Madras, the data presented above is relevant for all courses offered at IDE University of Madras.

The MBA (Human Resource Management) course at IDE University of Madras is a two-year course in postgraduation, divided into four semesters and offered in distance mode. The subjects covered in this programme are closely associated with leadership roles in Human Resources. Check out the names of the subjects included in the curriculum below:

University of Madras has opened a Single Window Admission Centre located at the IDE building at Chepauk Campus, Chennai and ensures admission across the counters. Students using the Single Window Admission Centre should know the working hour of this admission center: 

Working Hours: The Single Window Admission Centre functions on all days including Saturdays and Sundays except holidays declared by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The centre is openfrom 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on week days and between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays during admission period only.

The IDE University of MBA selection process is based on the eligibility criteria qualified by the candidates, followed by a valid score in the entrance examination. Firstly, Candidates for admission to the first year of the Master of Business Administration Degree Programme in the Institute of Distance Education shall be required to have any one of the following qualifications
under 10+2+3 or 10+3+3 or 10+3+2 or 11+1+3 or 11+2+2 pattern of education. Further, the university accepts the XAT, CAT, MET, TANCET and other entrance examination scores.

A B.Sc. in Forensic Science is not directly offered by the University of Madras. However, similar courses like the B.Sc. in Advanced Zoology and Biotechnology, which includes forensic Science modules, are offered by associated colleges within the university, including Madras Christian College.
