The acceptance rate at the University of Manitoba is 52% whereas the acceptance rate at York University is around 59%. Therefore, the difference in the acceptance rate of both universities is not much however, acceptance chances to York University are higher than the University of Manitoba. The two main university campuses also offer a wide range of healthy options for students such as Fresh Food Company, The Daily Bread Café, Belltower Café, and Degrees Diner. Also, the University of Manitoba also makes sure  that the meal plans are convenient, flexible, and healthy for the students to consume. Different meal plans have different charges and the amount of meals available to the students from the plan they choose from.

The University of Manitoba offers on-campus resident opportunities to students who are looking for a place to stay during the summers or even want to rent a room for a short duration of time. Univ of Manitoba offers two main campuses to students, Fort Garry Campus and the Bannatyne Campus. Former campus is located in the bow of the Red River in treed and encompasses more than 280 hectares. Campus comprises more than 90 major buildings along with 4 colleg laboratories, teaching and learning spaces, service officers, etc. Bannatyne Campus is a vibrant urban community campus offering multiple facilities to students along with diverse food services such as Tim Hortons, Starbucks, Burrito Splendido and others.
