The B-school's full-time MBA is ranked highly by domestic & international publications alike. A prominent local publication ranks the MBA programme as the #1 programme in Australia.
As far as global rankings are concerned, a prominent international publication in its 2024 rankings ranks the programme #79 globally while another ranks it #31, thus cementing the programme as one of the best in Australia & worldwide.

International students interested in a full-time MBA from UNSW must secure a minimum GMAT score of 550 to be eligible for admissions. It must be noted that this is only the minimum score requirement, in case of large number of applications being received, students with a higher GMAT score would be prioritised. Thus, interested candidates must perform really well in respective GMAT examinations.

UNSW Sydney is an internationally recognised university in terms of its ranking although this may differ with ranking agency used. UNSW graduates continue to lead the Group of Eight (Go8) in median salary for postgraduates. These results are as per the Graduate Outcomes Survey Longitudinal, which is completed 3 after the students leave the university. For postgraduate, UNSW Sydney leads the Go8 for full-time employment 4-6 months after the graduation and 91% is the employment rate.
