Yes, you can do B.Tech from UPSEE. 10% seats are reserved for non up students in every college but u have to score good in UPSEE. If your rank lies under 1k, then you will definitely get the government college. Otherwise, you can opt for private colleges. Such as AKG, KIET and ABES.

Hope you are preparing well. UPSEE is an exam organized by Uttar Pradesh for admission for different UG course. You can apply for the preferred course according to your choice. For getting admission in college of UPSEE you have to score more than 45% in class 12th having Physics and Maths as a subject if you are applying for B.Tech course. You can take admission in HBTU on the basis of your JEE Mains rank and the university will conduct their own counseling on the basis of your JEE Mains rank because HBTU is not a part of UPTU since 2016.

In UPSEE exam, the syllabus is based upon the 12th level pre-existing knowledge.
If you was good with preparation of intermediate, it will only be sufficient to get a good rank.

Yes, you can appear for UPSEE exam as appearing in class 12th and passed students can apply for this exam, so, don't need to worry. You just need to score more than 50% marks in class 12th to being eligible for UPSEE exam.

One of the pre-requisites to appear for the UPSEE exams is that the candidate should have cleared their HSC examinations. If you have scored zero marks in maths in HSC, you may have to re-appear for the paper, and only when you have cleared Maths in HSC will you be able to appear for the UPSEE exams. Regards.
