No, JEE is not a compulsory exam for every candidate to seek admission to Meerut Institute of Technology. The college also offers direct admission to students by filling out the application form at the portal or by visiting the admin block at the college. The cut-off for JEE is usually based on the rank and the closing rank for general category/Unreserved is 3,24,565 the admission is also given based on 12th grade under the management quota under which the candidate should have a minimum of 70 percent. While the students who have done Diploma can get lateral entry into the college in the second year.

The college also offers direct admission to students by filling out the application form at the portal or by visiting the admin block at the college. JEE Main Round 6, has been released for admission to the BTech courses. As per MNNIT Allahabad JEE Main cutoff 2023, the Round 6 closing rank was 12422 for General category candidates in All India quota for Electrical Engineering. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 19772 was the closing rank. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

The cutoff trend for B.Tech at MNNIT Allahabad has been increasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 4738. In 2023, it increased to 4777. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from
7107 to 1735 for OBC
14371 to 965 for SC
36978 to 362 for ST
6860 to 799 for EWS
96 to 137 for PWD
This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

MNNIT Allahabad will release 7-8 rounds of JEE Main cutoffs for admission to BTech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:

The JEE Main score of the candidate
The category of the candidate
The number of seats available in the course

Candidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.

MNNIT Allahabad JEE Main Round 6 cutoff for Computer Science Engineering is 4777 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increases your chances of getting admission in MNNIT Allahabad.

MNNIT Allahabad BTech cutoff 2023 for Computer Science Engineering was 965 for SC and 362 for ST category. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE Main, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For JEE Main Round 6 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 4295 and closing rank was 4777 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 7439 and 9937. Admission to Computer Science Engineering in MNNIT Allahabad is based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main entrance exam. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.
