If you have filled it in the application form, then yes you can change your course within the first semester, but if you have started studying in that course you cannot change the course.

Students securing 80% or more marks at 10+2 level are exempted from the selection process and admission of such candidates will be done only on the basis of Amity Admission Test.
Admission to B.Tech is done on the basis of AMITYJEE conducted by the university. Selection of the candidates for admission to various UG and PG courses is done on a direct basis as well as on the basis of a written test. The selection process comprises of an English language test followed by Group Discussion (GD)/ Personal interview (PI) Program based written test/creative/physical test is conducted for selected courses, wherever necessary.

Ya pretty much sure! Amity being a private sector university loves taking admission but I must tell you they have a criterion for each stream of B.Tech like around 70% (PCM+Any Language English/Hindi/Sanskrit) in your 12th boards if you want to choose B.Tech Computer Science, if you surpass the criterion that means you are eligible as an Non-Sponsored candidate else you got to choose Sponsored category if you want admission in amity (Sponsored being code name of donation in amity lol!). In sponsored category they charge you a little more than the usual fee per semester!which comes out to be around 4.55 Lacs more than the usual fee at t

AAFT is one of most reputed institute for media, placement and salary have different verse of TV industry. Its up to you how you crack your part. Its all depend on you in beginning you won't get good paycheck but later you will earn good. Regards

I also had almost same rank as you 1578 (AIR_OBC). I will suggest you to select NITK Surathkal IT. Even CSE at Allahabad is also a very good option if you are from UP. So if you want to stay near to home then go for CSE at NIT Allahabad otherwise come to NITK, Surathkal in IT.

All the NITs are equally good and holds a good placement record as well. NIT Rourkela is good enough for Computer Science and engineering. It has a good infrastructure, and good faculty members as well. It holds a good placement record. The companies like Dell, Microsoft, SAP Labs, Direct, PwC India, Goldman Sachs, HP, NCR Corporation, Oracle Apps, Cloud, Financial Services, Samsung, Ericsson So placement wise its good that's the only thing that matters in the end and academics wise it completely depends on you.
