VIT Chennai offers BTech course to students at the UG level. It is offered for 4 years in several specialisations. To be eligible for BTech at Vellore Institute of Technology Chennai, candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the college. Candidates appearing for final year exam in 2026, whose results are published on or before the specified deadline are also eligible to apply. There is a relaxation of 10% in the aggregate for SC/ ST and applicants hailing from Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.
