After completing an MBA in Malta, graduates can apply for a post-study work visa valid for up to nine months. This visa allows them to stay in Malta while seeking employment related to their MBA specialisation in sectors such as finance, consulting, and technology. To qualify, graduates must submit proof of degree completion, a valid residence permit, and evidence of sufficient funds. During this period, graduates can accept job offers and later switch to a work permit tied to their employment. International students planning to pursue an MBA in Malta must obtain a Type D student visa for courses longer than 90 days, which covers most MBA programs lasting 1-2 years. This permit lasts up to 6 - 12 months providing graduates time to find relevant full time employment or start business. Graduates need to apply before student residence permit expires so they can stay and work in Sweden. The job seeker permit helps in the transition from student life to professional employment, allowing graduates to leverage their Swedish education and local networks. Applicants must show proof of completed higher education in Sweden and have the financial means to support themselves during the job search period. The strong industry-university ties in Sweden benefit graduates by providing internships, networking, and employment opportunities, especially in engineering, IT, and innovation sectors. This post-study work pathway is a significant attraction for international students planning long-term professional careers in Sweden or Europe, enhancing the value of pursuing an MS degree there.   

Indian students need to get student residence permit mandatory for studies more than 3 months. This permit allows students to stay in Sweden for full duration of their program. To apply, students must have formal offer letter from Swedish university confirming admission to full time MS program. Other important requirements are mentioned below-

• evidence of tuition fee payment
• health insurance coverage if the program is of 1 year
• Language proficiency documentation required by universities usually in English (like IELTS or TOEFL) even though the Migration Agency itself does not impose a specific language exam for the visa.
• Applications are submitted online to the Swedish Migration Agency, with associated fees. The permit is initially granted for the programme duration plus some months after to allow for graduation formalities or job search.

International students who get admission to MBA programs in South Korea need to apply for D-2 Student Visa which is required for degree programs that are longer than 90 days. The visa application requires a passport, an admission letter from South Korean university, proof of financial ability, academic transcripts and a completed visa application form. English language proficiency is required as most MBA programs are taught in English, though knowledge of Korean is a bonus. The visa allows students to stay in country for full program which is about 12-24 months and provides permission to students which is limited to just part-time work to support living costs. The visa issuance process usually takes 4-6 weeks once the necessary documents are submitted to the Korean Embassy.
