Candidates seeking admission to BTech at VNIT Nagpur through JEE Main must require the following documents given below for admission:
- Class 10 and Class 12 certificates (class 12 admit card in case appearing in the exam)
- Aadhar card details
- Scanned photograph and signature of the candidate for uploading
- Scanned copy of the category certificate (if applicable) for uploading
- Scanned copy of the PwD certificate (if applicable) for uploading

Yes, VNIT Nagpur follows the semester pattern. The programme extends over four academic years, semester-wise. Therefore, the whole curriculum is divided into both theoretical and practical skills. The institute follows the CBCS pattern. This semester-based curriculum allows students to focus more intensively on their chosen areas of engineering. The VNIT Nagpur admits the eligible candidates to the MSc programme through the Centralised Counselling (CCMN). The selection is based on IIT JAM entrance examination score. All eligible candidates who have appeared for IIT JAM can register for the Centralised Counselling after the result is declared.
Apart from Chemistry, VNIT also offers MSc programme in the specialisation of Phsiycs and Mathematics under the depertment of Basic Science.

National Institute of Technology Calicut and Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology Nagpur are the two prominent colleges for BTech CSE admissions. Both colleges accept JEE Main scores for admission to the BTech and BTech Integrated courses. NIT Calicut cutoff for Round 5 for the CSE specialisation stood at 4742 and 4482 for 2023 and 2024, respectively. No, that isn't possible. At VNIT Nagpur, admissions for M.Tech programs are made solely on the basis of GATE scores, with CCMT counseling coming next. Some elite universities do, however, provide direct admission to BTech graduates of IITs or NITs. However, the official VNIT Nagpur website does not contain any such information. NIT Nagpur MSc cutoff 2024 has been released across multiple specialisations. Based on the Round 1 seat allotment, the MSc cutoff ranks ranged between 1030 and 1175 for the General AII India category students. Among all the MSc specialisations, M.Sc. in Mathematics is the most competitive specialisation. So, considering the round 1 cutoff, candidates seeking admission to NIT Nagpur must secure over and above the cutoff range mentioned here to be eligible.
