AMET University in Kanathur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Placements: I think in 12th grade, a student with above 50% in all subjects is eligible. The college offers placement for students with companies like Marks, M.Sc., and Evergreen. The students should have good skills, and they should develop their communication and a role to fit into a company.

Infrastructure: The campus has Wi-Fi with a high range, and it's free. The classrooms are technologically advanced by using projectors and online teaching by showing PowerPoint presentations. The computer labs are used for projects and other uses. The library is also good, having a peaceful atmosphere. The college has its own hostel, which has high security, cameras, and rules. The food is also provided 3 times a day.

Faculty: The faculty members in the college are very supportive, they help students and teach well. They give a course curriculum that helps to know about our subjects. The notes given by the teacher are very important, which help in the exams.

Other: I chose this college because I wanted to study about shipping and logistics course, and this college is a suitable one for my course.

Good faculty members and exposure, but placements and campus activities need improvement.

Placements: About 60-70% of students are placed in my course. The highest package offered is around 6 LPA. The lowest salary is around 2.5 LPA. The average salary is 4 LPA. Top recruiters include shipping companies, logistics firms, and ports. Around 70% secured internships, with roles in companies like Maersk and DP World. Top roles include logistics coordinator, shipping executive, and supply chain analyst.

Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi facilities, labs, classrooms with smart board, and library in our department. Hostel is also available but mess food will not be good. We have a cafeteria too. The department offers decent classrooms, Wi-Fi, and a well-stocked library. Labs are functional. Hostel facilities are okay, though food in the canteen could be better. Medical facilities are available. There are some sports and games, though options are limited.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified and generally helpful, with good knowledge in their fields. The teaching quality is decent, though some methods could be more interactive. The curriculum is relevant. But industry readiness could improve. Semester exams are moderately difficult, with an average pass percentage.

Other: I chose BBA shipping because of my passion for logistics. The course is practical. But placements, fests, and activities need improvement. Our campus is peaceful.

It has average infrastructure and good faculty members.

Placements: Above 65% of students from our course get placed. The salary offered ranges from Rs 45,000 to 4 lakhs per annum. Maersk company offers more jobs to students. I don't clearly know how many students actually got internships in our department, but I think it will be better for us and have a good future.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not working properly on the campus, and there is no proper AC for our course. Facilities are good here compared to classrooms and the hostel. The hostel has a great Wi-Fi facility, and they keep the hostel almost clean. Sports are conducted in the college.

Faculty: The teaching of faculty members is average. They use the smart board to teach us, but it's not enough to understand in a good way. The course curriculum makes average-level students industry-ready. Semester exam questions are of a medium level.

I don't like this college.

Placements: I don’t know about placements in this college. The fees seem high, which is a bad thing for students’ future. I don’t know much about shipping and logistics companies. Regarding HR management, I am not sure why permission is needed or if it is enough.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good, and facilities are the worst in this college. The quality of food is worst. The mess and canteen are not healthy. Sports should be a priority, but this college does not give proper importance to sports.

Faculty: The teaching quality is not good enough for me. They only teach for their own purpose and it is not industry-relevant. Exams are not tough. They are easy for us. I could not expect much from this college and did not understand its motive. It is one of the worst colleges I have ever seen in my life. It is a waste.

Other: I accidentally joined this college, which is the worst. Everything in this college is worse. No other activities happen here.

It has good teaching and better facilities. I think it is giving 100% placements.

Placements: Till now, I have not completed my course. When I asked my seniors, they told me there are good internships and placements. Top companies are recruiting students from college. Some students also get placed abroad. I think the highest salary is Rs. 70,000 per month. The average salary ranges from Rs. 35,000-40,000 per month. I don't know about the lowest salary.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is okay, but it has poor Wi-Fi. There is no AC in some classrooms. The library has all books, but there is no AC. The food is available in the mess and canteen. There are not many sports and games. There are better facilities in our department, but not that many.

Faculty: Teachers are good and helpful. 50% is the pass percentage. The course curriculum is relevant. Teachers are knowledgeable. Semester exams are moderate and but there are some subjects that are not related to shipping, but I think, so it is GK.

Other: I chose this course because I am interested in shipping. It should provide industrial visits for students.

The college is good. I recommend students take admission in this college.

Placements: Companies like Flipkart, Amazon, Messho, Shopsy, Bigbasket, and many companies recruit the BBA students as it's a very different and creative course. We mostly study ports where we export our products internationally, which is a good part of it.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. It has good and neat classrooms. The library is excellent. The hostel facility and food are not so good. Medical services are good. The department and library infrastructure are so good. Some classes even have AC. So it is good to study in this environment. We have smart boards in classrooms.

Faculty: Teachers are excellent with good knowledge. Teachers are so helpful. Semester exams are not as tough as we study for them. The curriculum activities, like dance, speech, etc., are going on in college. It makes or builds our confidence.

Other: Events are a must on campus.
