The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhopal offers courses in numerous fields including all Undergraduate, Postgraduate, PGCMDM and PDCC courses. The criteria for admissions are also different depending on the choice of courses by the candidates. However, most of the courses have an entrance test as a first step in admission procedure. There are different exams for different courses like NEET, INI CET, etc. There is no provision for direct admissions at AIIMS, Bhopal as entrance tests stands as the mandatory criteria for admissions.

The National Eligibility and Entrance Test, or NEET, is not necessary to get admitted to AIIMS Bhopal's MBBS program. For admission to undergraduate medical programmes like MBBS, AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) institutions, including AIIMS Bhopal, hold their own entrance exams. This exam is administered by AIIMS, New Delhi, and is not to be confused with NEET. The AIIMS entrance exam evaluates a candidate's understanding of general knowledge, physics, chemistry, and biology. The National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the NEET, a national entrance exam, to candidates seeking admission to undergraduate medical and dental programs in India; AIIMS and JIPMER are not included in this examination. As a result, applicants must take the AIIMS entrance exam rather than the NEET in order to be considered for MBBS admission to AIIMS Bhopal.

The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at AIIMS Bhopal - All India Institute of Medical Sciences other than General category are - 1316 for OBC, 8739 for SC, 19468 for ST, 1304 for EWS, 45424 for PWD. For 2022, cut off was 579 for General category candidates in All India quota for MBBS in AIIMS Bhopal. NEET cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

AIIMS Bhopal NEET UG cutoff 2025 was concluded with the release of the final rounds of results for the MBBS course. The cutoff was released for various categories under the All India quota. 

For the General AI category, the overall cutoff varied from 531 to 634, according to the first and last round. Admissions for the year 2025 were closed after NEET UG counselling results for round 2. Please keep in mind that other categories, rounds, etc., will have different cutoffs. 

AIIMS Bhopal NEET UG Round 3 cutoff for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) is 621 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increases your chances of getting admission in AIIMS Bhopal.

AIIMS Bhopal offers well-equipped campus facilities to students. The institute offers plethora of campus facilities such as state-of-the-art infrastructure, smart classrooms, airy surroundings, hi-tech computer labs, faculty rooms, audio-visual classrooms, etc. which helps in facilitating interactive sessions and project presentations to the students. 

As per the Shiksha Verified Reviews, "The infrastructure of the college is very good. Lecture halls are well furnished and with digital boards plus green boards. The central library has a wide variety of books with awesome seating arrangements along with Wi-Fi and computer systems if required. Many labs are there in each department so you get your table and microscopes. You don't have to share it and the student cadaver ratio in 1st year is also good which is 12 students for 1 cadaver which is not very good in other institutes," said a student.

AIIMS Bhopal offers a BSc Hons course in Nursing. Under this course, the institute offers around 90 seats. All of these seats are reserved for female candidates only. In order to get a seat, students must first check the eligibility criteria. Those who are eligible can apply for the entrance test. Further, they must also participate in the subsequent counselling process.

INI CET Round 2 Seat Allotment result was released on July 7 for admission to the MD courses. As per the INI CET 2023 cutoff for the July session, MD in General Medicine was the most competitive specialisations with a closing rank of 68 for the General category students. The NeXT Exam is conducted in two separate segments knows as ‘Steps’ in the online mode. The NExT Step 1 is a theoretical examination consisting of six papers. NExT Step 2 is a Practical / Clinical and Viva Voce examination covering seven clinical subjects or disciplines. The qualifying cutoff marks in NExT Step 1 will be calculated as whole number which will be considered as a Raw Scores with appropriate decimals and subsequently corresponding Percentages. The minimum marks for passing in NeXT are 50% or half of the maximum possible Raw for NExT Step 1.
