Yes, the distance MBA course is offered in six specialisations, namely General Management, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Logistics Management, and Tourism. For admission to the MBA programme at Alagappa University Karaikudi, aspirants must meet the minimum eligibility criteria. Alagappa University has not released a concise placements report for MBA course. However, the university NIRF report 2024 is out. As per this report, out of 1,226 PG (two-year) candidates, 295 were placed. Moreover, the median package offered to the Alagappa University PG (two-year) candidates stood at INR 2.4 LPA in 2023. 

The MBA registrations are currently ongoing. Aspirants should submit their application on or before May 27. Aspirants can apply by completing registration and application form filling on the Alagappa University official website. The MBA exam dates are also out and the test will be conducted on Jun 2.

Alagappa university admission is both entrance and merit-based, depending upon the nature of the programme. The university conducts an entrance exam for admission to B.Ed, MBA, MCA and MSc. The passing minimum marks in Alagappa University exam is 40% out of 25/15 marks in theory papers. A minimum of 40% out of 40/10* marks is required in practical exams.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the UGC NET June application on April 20, 2024. The last date for the UGC NET application form was May 19, 2024. However, the candidates could pay the application fee for the NTA NET June cycle till May 20, 2024, and application correction window was activated between May 21 to 23, 2024. The NTA UGC NET exam is scheduled to be conducted between August 21 to September 4, 2024.
