Q:   What is the admission procedure for BDes at Anant National University?
A: 

 The entire admission process for BDes for all majors at Anant is conducted online.

The candidates are evaluated in three different rounds for the admission process.

  1. For the first round, all candidates appear for the written part of Anant Design Entrance and Proficiency Test (ADEPT). This is a 90 minutes long 100 marks objective test with no which has three sections -

?      ADEPT Section A : Logical Thinking - 50 marks

25 questions for two marks each

?      ADEPT Section B : Design Knowledge - 25 marks

25 questions for one mark each

?      ADEPT Section C : General knowledge - 25 marks

25 questions for one mark each

There is no negative marking in this test.

  1. Upon successful clearance of this test, candidates are invited to sit for the ADEPT Situation test. This round comprises two parts -

?    ADEPT Situation test - Section D: Essay / précis writing  - 10 marks

For this section, the applicant can choose one of the two presented topic options, corresponding to which they are to write a 300 word essay/précis.

 Evaluation is done on the basis of following parameter -

?      linguistic capability and vocabulary      4 marks

?      content and idea                                  4 marks

?      structure & presentation                      2 marks 

?      ADEPT Situation test - Section E: Sketching skills - 10 marks

For this section, a handmade sketch has to be submitted corresponding to the given topic.

Evaluation is done on the basis of following parameter -

Here, the applicants are given four days to submit their response on the online portal.

The best college with best knowledge.
Placements: Till my knowledge, the highest salary is around 25 LPA. Many top agencies come here to provide jobs to students. Most of them get placed at good companies. I would say there is a 100% guarantee of placement in this college, and high chances if you are good at the work.
Infrastructure: All kinds of tools and machinery are available with which students can work and engage in learning, and teachers guide them to maintain the machines and how to use them. All hostels come with modern facilities that fulfill all the basic needs a student requires.
Faculty: All teachers are really helpful and knowledgeable. They help throughout the semester with every doubt and give us the required direction to kick off our project and let the best outcome be there. The juries are not as much difficult as one might think.
Other: College engages in regular co-curricular activities and events atleast once a month, and it's great in terms of the college life we get here.

Anant's glorious campus.
Placements: There's 100% placement guarantee by the institute in all departments. As I know, the highest package is 56 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Reliance, Tata, and some of the local city companies. We can start our own business in my particular course or work in any company too.
Infrastructure: Our college has very well-defined classrooms and labs to work in. Libraries with various kinds of books to read. A good canteen that serves fresh food, an infirmary that runs 24X7, and all kinds of facilities that one may require are available at the campus. Also, there is a gym available for the students to work out and some chill areas where they can sit work and relax.
Faculty: All teachers are passed out from top colleges, their knowledge is top-notch. They are very friendly and incredible in terms of knowledge they have. They are always there for you to solve your doubts. The course is very much relevant, and they try to teach what is there in the industry. They try to give at most practical knowledge. There are juries held for the final grading of semester. One must complete the particular credit of each course in order to pass the semester or particular course.
Other: I chose this course because it was my own interest. The best thing about this course is that the college predominantly works on this particular course or field which I am working with. Most of the things are better in college. There is no large scope for them for any kind of improvement. There are always events best happening around the campus so that there is interaction. One can get to know each other from various cities that come to study over here.

It’s a very fun place to study in if someone is pursuing design; it’s the best place to be in.
Placements: The percent of students getting placed in my course is about 80%. The lowest package offered by my course was 4 LPA, and the highest was 12 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course are Samsung, Google, and Microsoft. The percent of students getting internships is about 60-85%. The top roles offered by the course are Product Designer and Graphic Designer.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is very stable and ideal for working on screens. The library is a quiet place, and the classrooms are very subtle, airy, and fresh. The hostel is top-notch, with good rooms, good air conditioners, good water quality, and clean bathrooms. Medical services are available 24/7 with certified doctors and nurses, including female staff. Sports competitions are held every year, encouraging students to participate more. Lastly, the food available is very healthy, nutritious, full of fiber, and a complete balanced diet.
Faculty: The teachers teach very well and solve all the doubts of the students. The teachers are well-qualified designers themselves, and they give us a clear image of being designers. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant. It does make students industry-ready in every way through the exams conducted and everything. The semester exams are pretty difficult, and the pass percentage is 35%. There are juries held instead of written exams where we have to present our work given by the faculty and marks assigned accordingly.
Other: I was inspired to be a designer since childhood. It allows people to explore more about design in the world. None such, I already like the course, but it can be more explanatory. The events are full of fun and joy. There are various events and festivals celebrated on campus, which are celebrated amazingly.

Placements: 40 percent of students were placed. Top recruiting companies visiting our university are People, TCS, Piramal groups, Accenture etc. Internships are offered throughout the courses during semesters as well. Along with that on-campus jobs based on personal merit are also provided to students.
Infrastructure: Hostel infrastructure is very solid, good food, and good residence life experience. We have twin-sharing rooms, laundry and grocery services, above-average mess food, and a powerful redressal system. Wi-Fi, AC, laundry, cleaning, and pest control services are provided.
Faculty: Faculty members are coming from all over the world to give us quality experiences, and juries are very helpful for personal growth. Difficult levels of juries are defined by students themselves based on the efforts they put to compile the entire together. We are also provided with funding offers during jury.
