Anant National University (ANU) is considered as India's first Design University. The University was established in 2016 as a private university by an Act of Legislature of Gujarat State. ANU is situated in a sprawling lush green campus of Ahmedabad. The campus encompasses a state-of-the-art estate which comprises of studio spaces and well-equipped workshops for climatology, carpentry, metalworking and ceramics. The University also has a well-stocked library, seminar rooms, and an auditorium. It also provides other sports facilities such as badminton court, volleyball court and an indoor tennis room.
