The online registration of TNEA 2019 will start tentatively in the 1st week of May 2019 for admission to undergraduate engineering and technology courses at some 563 participating institutes. The TNEA 2019 admission process will be conducted by Anna University. The registration-cum-application form of TNEA 2019 will be available in online mode only and have to be filled before the last date by eligible candidates. TNEA 2019 eligibility criteria reflects that candidates will be eligible for admissions if they fulfill the below mentioned eligibility criteria:
Candidates are eligible to apply for admission through TNEA if they are:
Tamil Nadu candidates who have passed their Class VIII to Class XII standard in Tamil Nadu. Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years at the time of TNEA application form submission.
Sons/daughters of All India Service Tamil Nadu cadre officers. Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognised institutions who at the times of TNEA 2019 application form submission had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible to apply, irrespective of their domicile. Other state candidates who have studied from Class VIII to Class XII in Tamil Nadu can also apply for TNEA 2019. Tamil Nadu native candidates who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI and XII standards or their equivalent examinations from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply for TNEA.

BE food technology is available in department of chemical engineering, Panjab University. Admission is based purely on your JEE Mains score and ranking. You'll have to apply as per the notifications issued. Then merit lists will be prepared for various courses available by JAC (joint admission committee) including food technology. In College of Engineering, Guindy admission are based on 12th percentage. Minimum eligibility to apply is 50%. Mandatory Subjects are Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry. Candidates must have obtained required percentage in mandatory subjects. Candidates who have cleared any one of the HSC (Vocational Subject) along with the mandatory subjects with required percentage of marks are also eligible to apply. Anna University will prepare the cutoff of TANCET 2019 after the declaration of result to admit candidates in M.Tech programmes. Candidates who have appeared in TANCET entrance examination will be offered admission based on rank secured in merit list prepared by admission authority.
TANCET 2019 cutoff is the minimum marks required by candidate in order to eligible for admission process. For MBA in Anna University distance education you need to appear DEET Distance education entrance test conducted by CDE Anna University itself and entrance examination is already over on 24.02.19 not TANCET required. For Madras University, you need clear entrance examination.
