No, there is no entrance exam for Anna University for B.Tech or B.Arch course. Admission in Anna University is subject to merit in TNEA this is calculated by the marks obtained in physics, chemistry and Maths in class 12th. But, yes that average is calculated out of 200 i.e. 100% of Maths, 50% of physics and 50% of chemistry. Good luck.

As per the internet research, all the university maintained colleges under the University are good and provide campus placements with a good package. Kindly contact the college alumni for detailed information, as they will be able to explain the colleges and their pros and cons. Hello, Admissions in Tamilnadu are based on strict criteria which are given out by Anna University which controls and processes the complete admission system for admission to different engineering colleges in the state.
