Decent academy support with a good campus, but needs more practical exposure.
Placements: Around 60%-70% of students from the B.E. Civil course got placed. The highest package offered is around 6 LPA, the lowest is around 2 LPA, and the average is about 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters include NGOs, media houses, and educational firms. Around 50% of students got internships in companies like Tech for India, Times Group, and local startups. Common roles include content writers, research assistants, and HR trainees.
Infrastructure: The college provides good facilities for our department, including smart classrooms, fast Wi-Fi, and well-equipped computer labs. The library is quiet and stocked with useful study material. Hostels are clean and have basic amenities. The food in the mess is average, while the canteen offers a better variety. Medical help is available on campus with a health center. Sports facilities, such as a playground and indoor games, are provided to encourage student recreation. Overall, the infrastructure is decent and supports both academics and student life well.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified, supportive, and knowledgeable in their subjects. The teaching quality is good, with practical examples and regular doubt-solving sessions. The course curriculum is up-to-date and industry-relevant, which helps in preparing students for real-world challenges. Semester exams are moderately difficult but manageable with regular study. The pass percentage is decent, with most students clearing their exams on time.
Other: I chose the B.E. Civil Engineering course for its broad subject options and scope for learning. The best part is the supportive faculty and flexible curriculum. I wish there were more practical activities. The campus crowd is friendly, events are lively, and the college is well-connected. Scholarships are also available.

Placements: The placement rate ranged from an average of 50-87%, with the median package at 2 LPA. The highest monthly package was Rs. 25000, the average was 15000, and the lowest was 9,000 per month. Top recruiters are UNICEF, HELP AGE INDIA, UNESCO, Department of Rural Development, and Apollo Pharmacy. Around 75% of students got internships at CAD Macro, Episource, IDBI Federal, and Apollo Hospital. Top roles offered are community development, family and child welfare, school social work, human resource management
Infrastructure: Annamalai University has good infrastructure, including classrooms, a library, hostels, and a health center. The MSW department is well-equipped with experienced faculty and offers both theoretical and practical learning. 2. Separate hostels are available for boys and girls, including international students, with single shared rooms. The university canteen offers affordable nutritious meals daily across multiple outlets, along with snack corners and juice bars. Yes, the MSW course curriculum is relevant and includes fieldwork, preparing students for roles in NGOs, hospitals, HR, and community services. 3. Semester exams are moderately difficult, covering both theory and internal assessments, with pass percentages ranging from 75% to 85%.
Other: I chose the MSW course because I wanted to help people and create positive change in society. 2. I wish the course had more updated study materials and better access to online resources. 3. Annamalai University hosts various cultural events and festivals that bring students from different backgrounds together. Scholarships are available for deserving students, especially those from economically weaker sections.

Good placements, and we have another branch in Coimbatore. The hostel facilities are good.
Placements: Highest package offered so far is between 9 to 12 LPA, especially for CSE and IT students. That is one of the biggest achievements of the year! Students felt more confident this year due to regular aptitude training sessions. Departments like ECE and EEE also saw good placements, especially in core companies. The top roles offered are HR roles and software analyst positions. I have an ECE background and core-related companies are offering more jobs.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are neat and comfortable. Food is average, but we manage well with canteens inside the campus. The dental block inside the college helps students access basic medical facilities when needed. Overall, the infrastructure is good. The classrooms are clean and well-maintained. Labs are well-equipped with proper electrical instruments. The library has plenty of useful books, and students can access it anytime.
Faculty: Faculty had a good educational background. They are helpful when it comes to projects and presentations, even with their help, I got first prize in a paper presentation. They teach us practically and theoretically, so it is very helpful to apply engineering principles in real life. Exams are sometimes tough, especially when handling department-related papers; sometimes, they are even tough to clear.
Other: Big events happen only once a year, and that was grand too. Random events occur twice a month. But academically and placement-wise, it was okay.

Top recruiting companies are L&T, Tata Projects, and NCC Limited. Top roles offered are site engineer, project manager, and structural engineer. 65% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: Our college has provided facilities and infrastructure. Everyone can use the internet. It has a huge central library. Classrooms are good, clean, and hygienic. The labs are good. Hostel facilities for both girls and boys are good, and the food served is good. The canteen is also available.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-trained and well-educated. Faculty members here are well-disciplined. Faculty members in our college are friendly. They clarify our doubts. The curriculum is relevant to the subject. Semester exams are easy to pass, and 70% is passing percentage.

Infrastructure: VSB Engineering College's infrastructure and facilities are excellent. This college has more departments. All classrooms are more comfortable for all students. Multiple computer laboratories are available in this college. This college provides good hostel facilities. The hostel food quality is very good. Faculty: VSB Engineering College teachers are more experienced and qualified professionals. They conduct more lectures every week. They teach some additional computer courses, which are very helpful for our placements. 95% of our batch students passed in all semester exams.
Other: VSB Engineering College's infrastructure, facilities, and placements are excellent, so I chose this college. This college management conducts more festival events. This college has more than 15 courses. This college management conducts more extracurricular activities. The college transportation facilities are also very good.
