This college has the best library and laboratories.
Placements: In placements, some private limited companies tied up MOU with our university. Average students have selected placements if they have extra-curriculum activities. The lowest salary package offered is 1.2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 2.4 LPA. The pre-placements program is conducted by both faculty members and department.
Infrastructure: There are 5 laboratories for different subject. It has a separate library for department with Wi-Fi and it is the best university. The library is also available for students. Hi-tech classrooms with advanced technology teaching system is available. It provides the best playgrounds. It has field visit and internships are good.
Faculty: Both extraordinary teachers and ordinary teachers are there. Subject for each semester is more equal to IIT but the syllabus in some subject is less compare with IIT because the combine 2 or 3 subjects in one paper. If the student attentively listen the class and properly use the library, the sign in both central government jobs and research field. Blooms taxonomy question pattern is tough as compared with old pattern in 2017, but pass percentage is 5 point out of 10.
Other: It is a multidimensional course. Students can study rock, soil, water, air, etc. Need to add some more field visits. Both OBC and SC or ST students have scholarships now. Value added course is also available and it is a residential university so students can choose many subjects for VAC.

Our college is good in all aspects.
Placements: Nearly 20% of students got placed in our course. More than 100 students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are GIS, etc. Many geospatial-based companies visit our college to recruit students. Almost all students got internships during 4th year at Neyveli Lignite Corporation. Top roles offered are in mineralogy, GIS, and hydrogeology.
Infrastructure: Our college provides us with all facilities. Labs are well-maintained. Labs are equipped with good instruments. We have a gem lab, rock museum, logging lab, hydrogeology lab, and mineralogy lab with trinocular polarized microscopes. Wi-Fi facility is available in our department. The library is available in all departments. The library has many books. The food served in the mess is good. The hostel rooms are the best. There are attached to restrooms. Our college has a medical hospital, and it's free for students.
Faculty: Our teachers are well-experienced. They are knowledgeable in their subjects. They organise field visits for students to provide knowledge about the field. They train us for future challenges. Semester exams are difficult to pass. It is very difficult to malpractice. Exam halls are under CCTV surveillance. Around 95% of students pass every year.
Other: I opted for this course because I liked to explore, and I wanted to know more about the earth. The best thing about this course is that you will explore the fieldwork.
