It has great curriculum and faculty, and holistic approach to education.
Placements: As a first-year, I am not fully aware of the exact statistical details for placements. However, some of the major companies that recruited our students include McKinsey, Deloitte, Star TV, Genpact, Zomato, RBL Bank, and Mu Sigma. Many students also go for Masters degree at eminent universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, KCL, Sciences Po Paris, SOAS and Trinity College Dublin. For the year 2018-19, the highest salary package offered was 25 LPA, while the average package was between 7-11 LPA.
Infrastructure: As our exposure to the college campus has been limited, or absent altogether, my idea of the infrastructure is based on information provided by the university themselves and seniors. The campus is well-equipped, with air-conditioners and Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms and dormitories. There are multiple labs, especially for the pure science and STEM courses, which are equipped with the most updated machinery and resources. The library is one of the largest among all college libraries in India and has an extensive range of academic books, journals, papers and magazines. The quality of facilities is good in general, but they are occasionally given in to inadequacies. Internet connectivity was quite patchy during the last few months for those on campus, even while running at less than half capacity. The quality of the mess food is standard, and balanced meals are provided. Besides the mess, there are also multiple food outlets as options for students. The sports block is well-endowed with all the necessary equipment. The upkeep of tracks and fields for specific sports activities are taken up by the sports ministry.
Faculty: The overall teaching quality, for my course at least, is great. All the professors are highly qualified and carry PhDs from the best universities across the world. Not only do they have a very good grasp of their subject matter, but also their methods of teaching are creative and innovative. The usage of different mediums besides textbooks, such as films, songs, memes, YouTube videos, etc., are highly encouraged. As a first-year, I can't speak much about the career prospects these courses are geared towards or how they help meet industry demands. But judging by the structure and content of the courses so far, they are definitely instrumental in ensuring practical applications of the theoretical concepts that are learned in class.
