Other: Located in a remote place in Sonipat, Haryana, one would think Ashoka University isn't that great a place. But to judge a book by its cover is not only wrong, but also does not do justice to it. Probably one of the best colleges in India with the potential to become one of the best in the world, Ashoka University is one of the first colleges in India to offer a liberal arts education. Students may choose a variety of majors ranging from Computer Science, Psychology, Philosophy, Mathematics, to Literature, History, and Sociology etc. In order to complete a degree, a student must complete 9 Foundation Courses, which are courses in various disciplines, and above that, a student has to complete 3 Critical Thinking Courses along with 12 Major courses and 2 co-curricular courses. Students also have an option to stay back for a fourth year to do the Ashoka Quest, which is a unique program. In this extra year, one may choose to complete a second major, given they take 12 courses in the second major they are willing to take, or they may finish off a minor and do an internship with the time that remains. Overall, it is a brilliant place to be and I would recommend it to anyone who has a thirst for knowledge and wants a brilliant college life.

Our college gives a life-changing experience.
Placements: All our batchmates, including myself, who got enrolled for placements, got placed through campus recruitment. The remaining students who opted for higher education didn't sit for placements. Some of the highest paying recruiters which offered a salary package of more than 15 LPA were Genpact, McKinsey and Company, ATK, McArthur, etc. Companies like Deloitte, MMT, Michael Page were offering an average salary package of 10-12 LPA. Many recruiters offered a salary package of below 10 LPA from different sectors like consulting, banking, healthcare, tech, start-ups, policymaking and the social sector. Since Ashoka offers liberal arts education, students fit in various roles such as management trainee, research associate, marketing, HR, operations, finance, analyst, consultant, project and product managers, etc. More than 200 recruiters visit the campus for placements every year. Placements are managed by the Career Development Office of Ashoka University.
Infrastructure: Everything is top-notch, including the food, hostels with cross access facilities, Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, medical clinic, ground, sports and swimming complex, etc. It feels more like a home for every student of Ashoka through its ambience.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are one of the world's topmost and highly reputed. It could be the mode of teaching and classroom engagement, course structure or methods of assessments. The focus is ultimately on the learning outcomes of the students for their higher-order skills, which set the requirements of the 21st-century job market or academia.
Other: Campus life is just an Ivy league college life experience in terms of fests, crowd, connectivity with new people from diverse cultures, extracurriculars, scholarship opportunities for people coming from underprivileged backgrounds. The one-year PG diploma programme named Young India Fellowship is a transformative programme, and it is one of the highest-rated education programs in India.

The college has highly qualified teachers and a beautiful campus.
Placements: Our senior batch had a 100% placement record. Students with work experience are likely to basket MBBS with good packages while the average package should be around 6-7 LPA. To name a few companies Bain and Company, Mckinsey, Boston Consulting group, Dalberg, Samagra, MuSigma, Ernst and Young, IIFL, Genpact, Team Computers, Katalysers, InfoEdge, etc. The sectors range from Consulting, Development, Education and Finance.
Infrastructure: High-speed Wi-Fi, great library, a medical room. They have sports like Squash, Tennis, Table tennis, shooting, ultimate frisbee, volleyball, football can be played. The campus has a beautiful infrastructure. But I believe that the number of students is more when compared to the area available.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and easily accessible. Most of the teachers use a presentation to go with their lectures and the presentation is then mailed post-class. The course has experiential learning module wherein a team of 3 students is assigned to work with a chosen company along with the course for 10 months. This is supposed to provide industry experience. But the experience at large for most of the students at large has been disappointing.
